At Patchworks Ensemble, we are constantly looking for opportunities to work with children of all ages. We have conducted theatre workshops where the focus has been firing their imagination and helping them pull out stories and characters from the world around them and introducing them to the world of Theatre.
For some time now, we have conducted workshops in collaboration with Prithvi theatre (Mumbai), Rangashankara ( Bangalore), JBCN International school (Mumbai), Poddar International school (Mumbai), Welham Boys school (Deharadun) and others.
A part of our long term vision is to share our theatre experience and learnings with people from all walks of life, to share with them the joy and playfulness we experience in theatre. In the past in collaboration with Tamasha Theatre (Mumbai), we have conducted sessions for children at the Tata memorial Cancer hospital ( Kharghar) where we created interactive shows for the children and their families.
We have also conducted a Mask workshop with members of the trans gender community in collaboration with Aravani Art project and Dramanon in Bangalore. This was part of their preparation for their production ‘’Nava’.
